Our Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) are designed and provided by peers who have gained both practical experience in the process of recovery and the wisdom of how to sustain it. Our services expand the capacity of formal treatment systems by promoting the initiation of recovery, preventing relapse, and intervening early when relapse occurs

One of the strengths of our peer recovery support services has been our adaptability to multiple pathways of recovery, as well as to different service settings and organizational contexts. This adaptability makes us an effective vehicle for extending support for recovery beyond the treatment system and into the communities where people live and to people following different pathways to recovery including pathways that are predominantly religious, spiritual, or secular; involve medication assistance focus on cultural survival and renewal as avenues to recovery.

The "DOOR" offers recovery support services from our trained staff of peers with similar lived experiences. We will support you as you take small steps towards achievement of your life goals. The "DOOR" program does not attempt to replace existing services but strive to enhance them by offering peers another opportunity to learn, grow and thrive with others who are actively seeking to build a life free from bondage.

CAREER SERVICES
The "DOOR" Job Readiness program equips peers with the practical and professional skills needed to obtain and maintain employment. The program works primarily with individuals who experience difficulty in finding employment due to circumstances in their lives, and helps them to overcome these challenges.
Resume Preparation Each peer will be assisted with resume preparation.

Peers will be equipped with the necessary skills to interview successfully with potential employers.

Job Search AssistancePeers will be taught how to navigate online and search for resources including job search engines.
